If Wiscon Tactical is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Firearms-Related Records

Wiscon Tactical may collect and retain information and records necessary to complete lawful firearm transactions and satisfy applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Records subject to mandatory retention requirements will be maintained for the periods required by law. We will not delete records when doing so would violate applicable legal or regulatory obligations, interfere with a transaction or investigation, or be inconsistent with applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Firearms-related records may include information required by law or by an FFL, carrier, payment provider, regulator, or other participant in a lawful transaction. We will handle such records in accordance with applicable law and our actual business practices.

6. Cookies and Website Tracking

Our BigCommerce storefront and any third-party applications we use may employ cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to operate the shopping cart, remember preferences, maintain security, authenticate users, prevent fraud, and measure website performance.

Where applicable, visitors can manage cookie preferences through the options provided on our website or through their browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality. Browser-based “Do Not Track” signals may not be recognized unless required by applicable law.

We do not currently make a representation that every third-party technology used on the website is covered by a universal opt-out mechanism. The technologies and providers used may change over time.

7. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No electronic storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If a security incident affects personal information, we will provide notices and take other actions required by applicable federal or state law.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, complete transactions, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, protect security, and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, firearms-related, and reporting obligations.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, the sensitivity of the information, applicable legal requirements, and whether a dispute, investigation, audit, or legal hold applies. When information is no longer needed, we will delete, destroy, deidentify, or anonymize it when reasonably practicable and consistent with applicable law. We cannot promise deletion of information held by third-party providers or information that must be retained by law.

9. Privacy Requests and Consumer Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information. Some laws may also provide rights to obtain a copy of personal information, opt out of certain targeted advertising, profiling, sale, or sharing activities, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions. For example, we may retain or decline to delete information needed to complete a transaction, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, maintain required firearms-related records, detect or prevent fraud or security incidents, protect legal rights, or fulfill other purposes permitted by law.

To make a privacy-related request, please contact Wiscon Tactical using the contact information below. Please identify the nature of your request and provide sufficient information for us to evaluate it. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right, except as permitted by applicable law.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request where an appeal right applies, our response will explain how to appeal. If you believe we have not adequately addressed your request, you may also contact the applicable state attorney general or other regulator, subject to that agency’s procedures and jurisdiction.

10. Federal and State Privacy Laws

Federal laws may regulate particular types of information or activities, including payment information, communications, marketing, children’s information, data security, and firearms-related records. State privacy laws may provide additional rights and obligations depending on where you live and whether the law applies to Wiscon Tactical.

This Policy is not a complete statement of every federal, state, or local law that may apply. We will comply with applicable legal requirements and will provide any additional notices, choices, or rights required by those laws. If a state-specific notice or right applies to you, that notice or right controls to the extent of any conflict with this Policy.

Wisconsin residents may have rights under applicable Wisconsin law, including laws concerning data security, consumer protection, breach notification, and specific categories of information. Other states may provide broader consumer privacy rights. Because applicability and thresholds vary, we do not represent that every right under every state privacy law applies to every visitor or customer.

11. Marketing Communications

If we send promotional communications, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions in the communication or by contacting us. Opting out of promotional communications will not necessarily stop transactional, service, legal, or security-related communications.

We will handle marketing communications and consent or opt-out requests in accordance with applicable law.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not intended for children to make purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Firearm purchases and transfers are subject to all applicable age, eligibility, and legal requirements.

If you believe a child may have provided personal information to us, please contact us using the information below.

13. Third-Party Websites
